Yesterday I sat down to watch my motivation show "You Are What You Eat". One of the episodes in particular was about a woman who was a confirmed choco-holic.
Okay, that in itself was not so unusual. What made this really wild is that this poor woman is a buyer for a confection company! She was surrounded by chocolate and candy all day long!
Gillian McKeith, of course, marched in and took charge and laid out a plan for this lady that did not include any chocolate what-so-ever (big surprise!).
Then, part way thorough the 8 weeks, the poor woman had to go to a candy convention. A freaking convention! Okay, now, raise your hand if that does not sound like heaven; going to a convention where you are surrounded by candy and chocolate, and there are people there begging, begging you to eat it!!!
This woman made it through without even a nibble. Of course, that may have had something to do with the cameras that were following her every move, but she did resist something that not many other people could.
I sat there and watched that program and thought, if she can do that; and lose 2 stone (28 lbs) doing it; I can keep getting up early and walking every morning.
Find motivation where ever you can!
